St Mary of the Assumption, Calton is part of the Archdiocese of Glasgow, a Metropolitan See in the West of Scotland in full communion with the Holy See.
The Metropolitan Archbishop of Glasgow is the shepherd of the Catholic faithful in the city and its surrounding parishes. The parish of St Mary of the Assumption stands within his pastoral care and joins him in prayer for the whole Church.
